As long as the center is still in operation, they should be able to provide you with exact instructions on how to request a copy of your transcript. For testing center locations listed by state, visit https://ged. com/policies/ then find the state where you took the test and click on the link.

If you took the computer version of the test after January 1, 2014, you can login to their system “MyGED” directly and follow the instructions for getting your transcript. If you completed the GED on paper or before January 1, 2014, click on the “Get Transcript” link which directs you to a list of states. Choose the state where you took the test and follow the instructions for getting your transcripts.

Call the admissions office and explain to them you need help getting your GED transcripts. They will direct your call to someone who can provide you with more information. If you’re looking to attend college in a different state than the one where you took your GED, you may need to find your state’s Department of Education transcripts office online. To do this, search your state name + Department of Education + GED transcripts.

Go to the https://ged. com/ site and follow the instructions under the “Request Transcript” link to be directed to your state’s options for filling out the forms online. Have your credit card information available to pay the fee, which could be $4-$20 depending on your state.

Find out if your state has that option by going to https://ged. com/transcripts/ and clicking on the state where you took the GED Call (855) 313-5799 to start the process of ordering your transcript. You will need to provide your identification and credit card information. A service fee of $6 is added onto the transcript request fee in order to use this service.

Include the address(es) of where you would like your transcripts sent, such as to your home to the college program you are enrolling in.

Follow the instructions for paying the fee on the website, phone number, or mail-in form that you’re using to order your transcripts.

Consider having a copy of your transcripts sent directly to the college where you’re interested in enrolling. You may have to pay an extra fee for each copy, depending on your state.
